ROLE PROFILE
JOB TITLE: Logistics Secondary Supply Chain Assistant Executive
Function: Operation
Sub Function: Logistics
Report to: Warehouse Operations Manager
Work Location: Tokyo, Japan
ROLE SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to implement established inventory plans effectively and efficiently. Check the consistency between the inventory quantity stored in the warehouse and the system inventory, and if there is a problem, immediately report and seek for instructions.
Collaborating with internal departments, community-related departments, factory-related departments, and external partners, you are required to always focus on building good relationships and making business success together.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and implement delivery order from external customer within cycle plan to fulfill the replenishment of stock
- Carry out and accurately handle the distribution registration for bonded warehouses and wholesale distribution.
- Control cost expenditures by analyzing and identifying slow-moving, obsolete, and redundant stock for efficient inventory management.
- Implement MOF registration for NPI/Pricing/Source change etc as well as SAP transaction
- Handle tobacco excise payment against HY, FY shipment target, and local excise payment process (sample shipment), ensuring monthly payments for customer are made.
- Handle repacking material stock, and free of charge sample shipment in line with stock availability
STAKEHOLDERS
Internal
- Work closely with operations and supply chain team members to ensure customer fulfilment as per the business demand
- Maintain close liaison with the commercial and marketing team as well as finance team
- Direct connection with logistics function to ensure shipment and order fulfilment
External
- Wholesale & Warehouse Operator, Freight Forwarder & Shipping Companies
- Ministry of Finance and Custom Office
- 3rd party vendor for logistics operation

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated Bachelor’s degree
- Experienced in SCM industrial or related knowledge
- Proficient in Japanese, Conversational English
- Sound understanding of inventory management and material control processes, and knowledge of ERP System (SAP Material Management module)
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Cost conscious and analytical ability
