British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Executive_Filter Materialsin Bucharest
Your main activity revolves around:
- Source to Contract (Analysis, Sourcing Strategy, Market Engagement, Negotiation, Contract, Implementation)
- Spend and compliance reporting.
- Category Data and Records Management
- Commercial risk management
- Supplier and contract management
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the execution of the Strategic Sourcing Process within the framework of the approved category strategy and agreed sourcing delivery channel.
- To review and update sourcing plans on a periodic basis in alignment with the release of new updated category strategies.
- To be the category representative for the defined cost reduction and simplification initiatives.
- Where appropriate coordinate supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers collaborating closely with the appropriate collaborators and business functions including Commercial, Sustainability (incl. Supplier Social Audits) and Risk Pillars.
- Handle and resolve daily operation issues and queries with SNO, Finance, DRBU’s related to the supplier contracts and KPI’s and advance if required.
- Perform spend analytics, cost / scenario analysis and total cost of ownership benchmarking.
- Be able to advise partners on issues related to compliance to Group Procurement standards, policies and platforms at all times.
- To support reporting on compliance to Policy using the agreed compliance reporting process and advance through relevant route..
What are we looking for?
- Academic qualification (BA or equivalent experience)
- CIPS Corporate Diploma and/or membership of The Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply or equivalent country qualification or membership would be an advantage.
- Experience of sourcing at DRBU level for a period of 3 years minimum.
- Demonstrable level of commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Shown digital skills with previous experience of spend analytics, source to contract, requisition to pay, supply risk and supplier management solutions (e.g. Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Icertis etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Shown negotiation skills and influencing skills, able to influence business partners and suppliers as well as the ability to be outspoken if required to ensure compliance to contract.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability and supporting sophisticated MS Excel skills.
