JOB TITLE : Talent Acquisition Specialist
REPORTS TO : Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager
FUNCTION : Human Resource
LOCATION : Tokyo, Japan
Role Summary
Aligned to the Global Talent Acquisition Strategy, coordinates and implement new projects and initiatives (Talent Branding, System, Platform and Tool updates, Process changes, etc.)
Job responsibilities
Responsible for the end-to-end (direct sourcing, vendor management, assessing, and driving the selection of the recruitment function) to support clients to hire the best talents for every employment (New graduates, Mid-career, Contractor, PWD etc)
Pursue the best target of the quality, time to fill, cost saving and the candidates’ experience of hiring
Ability to effectively collaborate with internal collaborators, such as hiring managers and the HR community.
Build and manage efficient sourcing channels (LinkedIn, job boards ERP etc.) , as well as build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
Plan and operate recruiting events – job fairs, university relations, roundtable events etc.
Maintain accurate reports on Success Factor and any trackers, and work with GBS team to follow the latest internal policy and support audit process, also support recruitment related admin work as invoices, PO issuing and new vendor system registration.
Analyze recruiting market trends to anticipate and design following year’s early career recruitment strategy.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience and expertise in Talent Acquisition practices either agency or inhouse, with strong command of English and Japanese
Good knowledge of Employer Branding activities, e-Recruitment system and processes, recruitment performance including Social recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc)
Understands Japan market way of working, and willingness to learn FMCG MNC
Track record of ability to think and act both strategically and operationally
Extensive Project Management experience and prioritization skills, capable of collaborating and influencing a variety of collaborators.
