BAT SRI LANKSIS LOOKING FOR A AN ACTIVATION MANAGER

REPORTS TO: Customer Development Manager

JOB TYPE: Permanent  

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

  • To develop effective activation techniques, develop touch points infrastructure and recommend the relevant set of activation avenues for brand campaigns
  • Manage retail & non-retail touch points including all alternative communication channels
  • Gain insights into shopper behavior and opportunities/constraints in different shopper channels.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Business

  • Formulating Brand deployment strategy to meet executional KPI’s.
  • Take ownership of the implementation of brand plans for Sri Lanka / Maldives and to generate value within targeted segments and growth spaces. Provide input in the development of corresponding activation plans.
  • Supervise and evaluate performance against respective brand and activation critical metrics. Conduct analysis to resolve challenges and opportunities for BAT’s portfolio. Formulate recommendations to address issues and unlock value growth.
  • Define key objectives for brand programs with Brand Managers and ensure their delivery as per agreed metrics to achieve objectives
  • Provide guidelines and explore opportunities of further expanding the operations
  • Develop Innovative and impactful material in different channels in collaboration with brands team.
  • Define guidelines and polices for all material.
  • Propose goals and KPIs for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of material utilization and track on-going results
  • Rolling out of local material impact study with the help of SP&I team.
  • Providing detailed outline of Activation & effective Activity Mapping (Managing resources)

People

  • Build effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure delivery of business objectives.
  • Training & Development of Direct reports
  • Management of 3rd party resources assigned to the project.
  • Support effective team-working in the project across all sub functions.
  • Ensure BA’s are sufficiently trained and motivated to perform their activities to reach objectives
  • Develop training and coaching environment for his / her team to attain higher role in future.

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Do you have proven experience in Brand Deployment?
  • Do you have digital exposure?  

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.

  • At least 5 years experiences in Marketing and/or similar roles within BAT or another FMCG organization.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to develop, execute and provide post analysis on deployment and communication channels.
  • Proven track record of on time in full delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of market and consumer/shopper dynamics.
  • Excellent networking skills and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The most important metrics by which successful performance will be judged are:

  • Timely development of touch points
  • Monitoring Effectiveness / Efficiency of developed touch points
  • Availability and coverage of touch points
  • Adequacy of developed / recommended touch points as measured by the Touch point effectiveness studies
  • Continuous development and growth in results delivered in D2C Operation
