British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a Senior Media Manager, to join the Marketing team based in Trieste.

As the Senior Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the regional media strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving media maturity across our AME End Markets.

You will orchestrate the strategic direction and execution of Paid Media initiatives across multiple markets, focusing on advancing media capabilities, identifying innovative opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-performing campaigns. Collaborating closely with internal collaborators, agencies, and external partners, you will work to increase value and drive significant business impact.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and evaluate emerging media technologies, platforms, and innovative startups to ensure the business remains at the forefront of digital marketing
  • Champion media best practices across the organization, leading training sessions and producing educational materials
  • Establish robust performance measurement frameworks, using data analytics to drive actionable insights and campaign optimizations
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel paid media campaigns across AME, ensuring outstanding delivery
  • Partner with CRM, Web, and Data teams to drive personalization and optimize multi-touchpoint consumer journeys
  • Build positive relationships with external agencies, publishers, and technology partners to improve media performance and value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align media strategies with broader marketing and commercial objectives

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Paid Media strategy and execution across multiple platforms (DV360, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Ads, SA360). The experience in an agency and in-house environments is considered an advantage.
  • Proven leadership experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong experience in running multi-market, multi-channel media campaigns with a focus on personalization
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-leading analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, campaign optimization, and audience segmentation
  • Deep understanding of digital media tracking, tagging, and attribution models
  • Strong business partnering approach and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • Commercially minded with a track record of delivering measurable business impact
  • English language – proficient level
  • Preferred: Google Ads certified / Google Marketing Platform certified / Facebook Ads certified
