British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Campaign Planning Manager in Bucharest.

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? 

Understanding the portfolio strategy & the brand priorities for 12 months horizon as to fairly judge the campaigns in focus and building the best content planning and deployment plan. Sets the deployment framework and the timeline for all campaigns and activities in plan through a good management and coordination process.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Support Consumer Experience Team & Marketing Function on key business objective & focus areas. Aligns stakeholders to a common ground that satisfies both objectives and resources in order to develop the optimal plan (with the optimal resources) for each campaign in the multi-brand / multi category context.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Cross-channel content planning:

  • Facilitate meetings that involve all stakeholders required to help plan and gather info about campaigns: Kick Off, alignments, Wrap-Up, activity Recco, Campaign Evaluation
  • Make scenarios of activation plan for each campaign (SOV, Retail Visibility, SAs, passive offers, 121, digital), depending on campaign focus and budget
  • Multicategory planning: asses each channel in term of what it can deliver: AW, impressions, trial, equity, etc. and use this knowledge to deliver objectives for all BAT campaigns.
  • Build the TP list. After wrap-up is signed off, collect all TPs by channels & timelines driving follow-ups with each stream to avoid delays
  • Keeps all functions updated on the progress of development and implementation of campaigns and activities set in cycle plan while highlighting sensitivities whenever needed
  • Uses insights & analysis to best plan the content of when, where and how long we showcase each brand in all activation channels (target reach, frequency of exposure).
  • Monitor execution together with channel owners in order to maximize campaign KPIs
  • Uses integrated planning tool as a single view reporting and analysis resource

Promo planning:

  • Allocate, monitor and evaluate proper support to reach defined KPIs for each campaign (on each of the activated channels)
  • Build  & monitories yearly plan (period, mechanics, accounts, budgets) on all categories / all channels
  • Track in market trends and developments on all channels foreseeing opportunities and potential treats
  • Assist channels to input data, assure full plans are in the system and provide reports

What are we looking for?

Experience Required:

  • 3-5  years of experience working within marketing different areas (trade, activation, brand, SP&I)

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills at all levels with internal & external stakeholders, Effective communication, briefing and presentation skills;
  • Attention to details as well Planning & Organizing skills
  • Good networking skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Resilient, flexible (adaptability) and confident to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University Bachelor Degree
  • Fluency in written and spoken Romanian and English
