KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop, implement, and track key account distribution plans, trading terms, and channel strategies to deliver commercial benefits.
- Build account plans with sales, volume, and share targets for combustibles and new categories, aligning with overall business goals.
- Establish sustainable, profitable relationships with key accounts and external partners to drive long-term growth.
- Measure KPIs like TCI and SONA, ensuring alignment with global and end-market governance standards.
- Manage business-critical projects end-to-end, including scoping, stakeholder alignment, and tracking breakthroughs.
- Analyze sales and market trends, preparing actionable recommendations to optimize distribution and investment strategies.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance skills in account planning, negotiation, and strategic selling.
- Work cross-functionally to foster a culture of innovation, streamline processes, and execute creative strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in account/category management; senior account or field management experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and coach teams, with a focus on building organizational capability.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general digital tools.
- Strong understanding of financial principles like TCI and SONA and their application in account profitability.
- Highly developed interpersonal and written/spoken communication abilities.
- Familiarity with FMCG industry dynamics; knowledge of vaping channels or new categories is advantageous.
- Proven success in building partnerships with key accounts, industry stakeholders, and associations to understand market trends.
