BAT IS LOOKING FOR AN DBS Manager - Operations & IT Services

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be a business partner to the Operations function – the face of IT to Operations/Factory
- Define how technology can help achieve business objectives, identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements/features which will be most beneficial to the business.
- Understand Factory and IT service quality expectations and needs; help to improve the technology services with new functionalities and solutions.
- Oversee and address the issues impacting the execution of operational/project plans
- Collaborate with architecture and IT security to ensure the IT solutions comply with the internal standards.
- Be a valuable member of the Factory Leadership Team, represent IT and create a “partner” image.
Manage the IT services for both, the Factory and Commercial Units
- In particular - maintain the run of a Factory IT estate that supports operations, supply chain and administrative processes. The key system components are:
- factory network
- Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES)
- Enterprise Relationship Platform (SAP
- Track & Trace
- Quality Assurance System
- Manage suppliers to deliver the services in the agreed quality and timeline.
- Ensure that the suppliers and the projects are keeping the company dictated global standards.
- Manage the current processes of implementing and maintaining services to meet the agreed requirements of the non-IT departments
- Effectively identify business risks and problems related to work incidents. Suggest potential changes in IT systems and services to support the fix of issues recorded in the internal audit reports.
- Manage finances and budgets (build forecasts, compare actual and planned indicators, etc.) for Operations IT initiatives and IT Services (both Factory and Commercial Sites)
- Create and healthy working environment for the factory and commercial site’s IT team. Set goals, track the progress of the team members’ development, evaluate activities, check motivation, suggest trainings.
- Celebrate successes and help to solve performance issues in the team.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
- Business-facing IT experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain/Logistics (in a global environment), preferably with a degree in IT.
- Experience in a large global organization using internal and external IT services and thorough working knowledge of global services management
- Practical experience in the field of business models, business requirements, business analysis and deep knowledge related to IT solutions applicable to Manufacturing and Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
- Time to 100% productivity: 4-6 months
- Proficiency in written and spoken English at an advanced level
