ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Work as a business partner for the US Growth Management Team by providing data management solutions, modelling and predictive analytics. This role is an enabler to help the end market deliver growth activities that contribute to strategic decision making and effective prioritization.

The role will help support the RAI Growth strategies by using big data and advanced analytics while collaborating with internal and external partners. Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and improve the return on investment. Develop performance tools and models to help find opportunities and deliver recommended growth opportunities

Reports to: Marketing Planning & Prioritization Manager

Geographic Scope: USA

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Co-Lead automation agenda for Marketing Planning Prioritization with EM.
  • Collaborate with End Market to optimize data extraction using SQL.
  • Lead data management and documentation agenda for Growth Management.
  • Ability to synthesis large amounts of information to generate observations.
  • Experience analyzing reports and analytics generated by data science and statistical models.
  • Able to do technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, collaborative filtering.
  • Develop predictive analytic models to enable the creation of future looking scenario building.
  • Collaborate with SP&I and D&A to ensure E2E data solutions.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

  • At least 4 years of professional experience, at least 2+ years in data analytics, revenue management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning with emphasis on Tobacco industry or FMCGs is desirable.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken 
  • Knowledge and experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data
  • Time management skills with an ability to implement to deadlines and deliverables
  • Exposure to RDBMS tools like SQL, Redshift, S3, MicroStrategy, Python, R, Power Query, Dataiku, Kmine or Alteryx. 
  • Be able to craft independently and deliver E2E analytics solutions / outcomes per specification

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or Engineering preferred

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience with classification and clustering models. 
  • Project Management, Agile or Design Thinking experience.
