ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Logistics Support Coordinator is responsible for assisting with logistics activities, including order processing, inventory monitoring, and basic cost management tasks. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure operational efficiency and smooth delivery processes. The role will manage the logistical flow of finished goods for traditional retail and e-commerce, dealing with large-scale deliveries for retail orders and fulfilment centre replenishment. The role also involves maintaining relationships with the Third-Party Logistics provider (3PL). In this fast-paced environment, the Logistics Support Coordinator will work closely with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to deliver a direct-to-consumer experience that aligns with the overall business objective of building a Better Tomorrow Supply Chain.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Inbound Order Coordination: Assist in organising inbound shipments of finished goods into the 3PL warehouse, ensuring alignment with carriers and internal teams.
- Order Processing Support: Monitor and assist with the processing of orders, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and discrepancies are flagged for resolution.
- Inventory Monitoring: Support inventory control activities, including stock level checks and updates in relevant systems.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute daily reports on stock levels, sales performance, and inbound shipment statuses.
- Replenishment Support: Assist in managing replenishment orders for regular stock and promotional items, ensuring accurate tracking until delivery.
- Packaging and Repacking Assistance: Coordinate packaging material needs and support repacking activities within the 3PL warehouse.
- Stock Count Assistance: Support quarterly and year-end stock counts, ensuring proper reconciliation and system adjustments.
- Blocked Stock Management: Track and document blocked stock for destruction processes, ensuring compliance with approvals and system updates.
- Stakeholder Support: Maintain communication with internal teams and 3PL providers to address operational issues and align on logistics plans.
- Continuous Improvement Participation: Assist in identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions to enhance logistics processes.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Experience Required
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, particularly order fulfilment and inventory management.
- Basic experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for reporting and data management.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Basic understanding of ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, D365, or similar).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Business related degree or similar
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within FMCG
BENEFICIAL
- Exposure to e-commerce logistics processes.
- Awareness of sustainability practices in logistics.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.
