ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Business and Operational
  • Engages with GBS R2R Hubs, CoEs, Global Teams and business representatives for the respective functional area to identify and validate process improvement and define optimal solutions for gaps identified.
  • Active participation in the functional global process improvement, alignment, and decision-making forums [Focus Groups and Design Review Group Meetings] presenting proposals, facilitating and contributing to solutioning
  • Manages the progression of local/regional/global system and process changes [permanent or temporary – waivers] ensuring that the proper governance and controls are consistently applied.
  • Active support and delegate of the Global Process Expert in process (re)design initiatives and has active contribution to implementation of any related system changes / new tools
  • Drives collaboration with relevant Data Management teams to incorporate the design of key data aspects supporting the respective process and data quality improvements.
  • Drives action plans for opportunities identified for processes under remit.
  • Drives effective project management of the assigned improvement initiatives’ portfolio [small/medium size], monitoring implementation, progress against the plan and ensure action plans are in place to mitigate identified risks.

  1. Transformation
  • Coordinates processes continuous improvement initiatives and the efficient design/re-design of the R2R template for the allocated process area and cross-functionally, ensuring that they meet the business objectives [including standardization, automation, controls, and data harmonization aspects]
  • Monitors benefits delivery for the improvement initiatives.
  • Leveraging Process / Data Analytics, builds and articulates business cases that provide compelling guidance on how proposed change will create value to the business moving forward.
  • Monitors the accuracy and relevance of performance standards including the evaluation of performance metrics, reporting, and making recommendations to close the gaps and meet the targets set.
  1. Relationship
  • Drives and ensures close working relationship with GBS R2R, Functional CoE teams, Functional DBS teams, BCT as well as other stakeholders as required
  • Interacts and provides valuable points of view with peers and stakeholders
  • Communicates effectively via all channels
  • Initiate and maintain very good collaboration with other teams to exchange knowledge, best practices, and opportunities for improvement
  • Promote strong teamwork and cross functional/departmental collaboration.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven expertise in the relevant Operations Finance areas, in a multinational environment, with minimum 5 years’ experience on operational and/or process improvement roles. Working in a factory/supply chain will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of technology within Operations Finance areas (proven experience is an advantage)
  • Very Good understanding and application of continuous improvement frameworks and tools
  • Practical experience in projects management and implementation
  • Relevant working experience in a multinational matrix organization

SKILLS (Technical / Functional / Leadership)

  • Ability to develop, communicate and deliver clear action plans
  • Solid business acumen
  • Solution driven mindset and out of the box thinking, including cross-functional understanding of impact
  • Proactive attitude, motivated to achieving results
  • Change management skills and stakeholder management skills (including senior levels)

EDUCATION

  • Education: University Degree (Finance/Business)
  • Master degree and/or other relevant trainings / certifications will be a key advantage (eg CIMA/ACCA, Lean/6Sigma, project management, accounting, SAP/S4 etc)
