BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONSIS LOOKING FOR PRODUCT COSTING MANAGER
The primary responsibility of the role is to proactively manage the delivery of Product Costing activities and helping in Group Management and Statutory Reporting information in line with the agreed service level agreements of our customers. Group Management information will include financial information and scenarios required for Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) meetings, forecasting exercises, budget and for actuals. This will include co-ordination of assumption and other data inputs, running the forecasting process activities, preparation and generation of financial information and quality review prior to releasing to the customer for approval.
The objective of this role is to enable the GBS Centres to meet their business objectives by providing quality financial reporting information and analysis support for end markets.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Monitor and control activities related to Product Costing process and system(s) to assure correct accounting reporting and system controls
- Handle accounting policy and procedure inquiries and ad hoc reporting and analysis requests; provide periodic customer/site training
- Ensure customer needs and relationships are fulfilled and enhanced through proactive involvement and interaction
- Develop and assist in automating processes using innovative technical and processing solutions
- Support SAP User Access Management
- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and support control documentation requirements
- Coordinating with the global process owners on the implementation of reporting changes, which includes submission of comprehensive business specifications where technology enhancements are required, providing training and user testing resources to test enhancements
- Review and validation of country's financial & management data handoff to highlight data integrity issues
- Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of the financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls
- Work as a Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for global and regional stakeholders
- Actively involved in delivery of PC CoE activities and able to call out issues on timely basis to Regional Head of Ops finance.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
- At least 5 years of demonstrated ability in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice;
- Understand the platforms and analyse reports, identify issues and challenges within reports functionalities and data
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent specially FI, CO and MM modules.
- Able to drive projects and process improvements and handle a remote customer base model
- Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and independent.
- Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls
- Must have people leadership experience
