BAT is evolving at pace into a global multi-category business. With products like VELO, VUSE and GLO we are on a mission to decrease the health impact of our industry

To achieve our ambition, we are looking for colleagues who are ready to Be The Change. Come, join us on this journey!

British American TobaccoUK has an exciting opportunity for a Reward Project Lead – Fixed-Term 2 Years   in  London

Sustainability considerations are becoming an increasingly relevant determinant of investor decision-making. In turn this means that sustainability disclosures and communications are also becoming more important and now need to be treated with similar difficulty as our financial disclosures.

The proliferation and complexity of new regulation in this area, driven by the EU, US and UK regulators, introduces significant uncertainty and challenges for our sustainability reporting and disclosures.

To pro-actively address this, BAT has implemented a “CSRD Programme” to meet the requirements imposed by the sustainability reporting requirements, mainly in the EU. These are the most onerous global regulations, will cover most the requirements of other jurisdictions and will affect BAT before those in other jurisdictions. While there are significant reputational, regulatory and litigation risks for non-compliance, there are also opportunities for BAT to lead and to showcase its achievements!

Reward Project Lead is to drive Reward data evidence work for pay related disclosures in CSRD across the globe and ensure at the least compliance level data availability.
