MONTHLY ALLOWANCE: Starting from RM3,900.00 + Benefits + Bonus

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Reporting To: Assistant Manager – Records To Report

Geographic Scope: Global, APMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East Africa)

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• To execute a range of financial tasks, such as transaction processing, financial analysis and reporting, using the appropriate systems (SAP-ECC, BI) and agreed standard processes
• Perform period-end activities to ensure all transactions are posted accurately and period is closed as per timetable agreed
• Response to queries in a timely and efficient manner to promote a business partnering culture in GBS
• Perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items to ensure all items are captured into the correct GLs
• Perform analysis and clearing of balance sheet accounts to ensure accounts are clean and suspicious transactions investigated
• Update task level descriptions or process manuals as and when there are changes to manage knowledge retention and to assist back-ups performing tasks on behalf
• Provide support to audit process so that entity is able to manage the balance of risk and control effectively.
• Support migration project to ensure smooth transition of tasks from end markets to GBS.
• Perform testing of new systems/technology and processes as and when required to minimise potential problems to operations
• Provide backup support to team lead when needed to assist team lead in overseeing the operation
• Train new team members and share knowledge and job experience to get team members up to speed or assist them in problem solving
• Ensure KPI figures are met as per agreed SLA with end markets
• Assist team lead to manage workload in the team to achieve team’s deliverables as per agreed standards
• Identify and perform trouble-shooting on issues faced by team to resolve issues effectively and to highlight potential risks
• Proactively develop and maintain working relationship with end markets to create good partnership between end market and GBS
• Establish and maintain working relationships within and cross-functional teams to create a positive working environment
• Identify and actively pursue continuous improvement opportunities to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of processes in GBS

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Equipped with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or any Accounting Professional Qualification
• At least 1-2 year(s) working experience in the related field – General Ledger
• Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel, PPT, Words) - Pivot Table, vLookup
• Experience in using SAP ECC/ BI system would be an added advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with the customer
• Understanding the financial practices applicable to the daily tasks
• Accuracy and time management skills
