British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for aCommercial Finance Manager - Marketing in Globe House, London – Fixed-Term (12 months)
The role manages the provision of high-quality management reporting, including appropriate business insight and analysis in a timely and accurate manner to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare analysis on Net Turnover and Marketing Investment for senior forums
- Track, monitor and analyse pricing submissions for Combustible products
- Ownership of the Global Pricing Tracker
- Monitor and analyse financial performance of the business, comparing actual results against budget/forecast and providing insights to stakeholders
- Act as the central point of contact for Marketing Finance Management reporting
- Working closely with the Commercial Finance teams: identify, assess, and where appropriate implement efficiency improvements for Management reporting
- Support all internal and external stakeholders as required
- Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Be the global key contact for the marketing finance reporting instructions (“Pink Book”)
What are we looking for?
- Degree educated ideally with professional accountancy qualification (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA).
- Demonstrated experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
- Developed people management skills, both those under direct and indirect control.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically ECC / BPC / BI.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties.
